We stayed at Campfire Cabins for our first trip to South Dakota and it couldn’t have been a better experience! Sarah was extremely accommodating, making sure we had a cabin with a staircase next to the wall to ensure our little one would be safer. She was extremely responsive both before and during the trip and was quick to respond if I had any questions. They have cats and chickens and cows and her son was eager to show us around. It was also great having a playmate for my daughter while we were there. They cooked s’mores for us and all the cabins met out at the fire and it was just lovely. All the little extras they put in the cabin really make a difference, like little snacks, fresh eggs, toiletries and games and movies. The Last night there, we had a rare tornado warning and they opened their home to us to take shelter. All turned out okay and I’d definitely love to go back someday!
