My family of 5 stayed at a Campfire Cabin during our last trip to the Black Hills. Not only was the cabin clean and well furnished, but our space felt like a home away from home! We stayed at the Campfire Cabins for 5 nights and loved every minute of it! The location is perfect and the view is breathtaking. It is seriously right in the middle of everything and it's a short drive to wherever you would like to go in the Black Hills.

Wonderfully cozy cabins with all the amenities! Friendly hosts! Partially stocked open kitchen with stove, fridge & sink! Pots & pans and dishes!! Books, magazines & movies! Lovely open bedroom and dining area! You have to see it to truly appreciate it! Plus prime location to tour the hills in any direction! We will be back! Thank you for your hospitality!

Campfire Cabins was a great place to stay for our family Fall get-away in the Black Hills. Sarah was welcoming, accommodating, flexible and friendly. We had everything we needed and more in the clean and cozy cabin—an extra air mattress, snacks for the kids, kitchen essentials like oil and coffee. Great location and set up for families seeing Mount Rushmore!

We enjoyed the cabin accomodations....efficient, clean, well-provisioned. Good central location. Reasonable price and good value for the cost.

We really enjoyed our stay at Campfire cabins. My friend and I brought our three kids. They loved running around in the woods, holding bunnies and kittens, feeding baby cows, making S'mores by the campfire, and sleeping in the loft (although the stairs terrified me). Al, Sarah and their children were wonderful hosts. I don't think they ever get a day off!(...)

We had such a great time in the Black Hills & the Cabins were the perfect place for our group to come back to every evening. The Cabins are well stocked, very clean and comfortable and have everything you need. Where else can you stay and sit on the porch with a coffee and watch the cows graze and the ducks troop down to the pond!? And the campfire is a great(...)

This is the second year in a row where we sought lodging with Campfire Cabins! We love the location and the hospitality the Sutton family provides! With four family's enjoying a Black Hills vacation it was great to be able to settle in to our own cabins and still have an area outside to gather and enough the scenery! We look forward to coming back!!

We stayed at Campfire Cabins for our first trip to South Dakota and it couldn’t have been a better experience! Sarah was extremely accommodating, making sure we had a cabin with a staircase next to the wall to ensure our little one would be safer. She was extremely responsive both before and during the trip and was quick to respond if I had any questions.(...)
